Directing Internship Program

Directing Apprenticeship

The Directing Apprentice acts as an assistant to the director — often assisting with research and attending production meetings, design meetings, all rehearsals and preview performances through Opening Night. Specific duties vary depending on the nature of the show and the needs of the director. The Directing Apprentice will also assist with understudy rehearsals and showcase. Successful apprentices must be quick learners with directing experience, excellent writing, research and communication skills, and an interest in pursuing directing professionally.
