Professional Internships

Premiere Stages offers an internship program for college students and recent graduates who have an interest in pursuing a career in professional theatre. All internships are paid.

Student auditions are held each spring for Kean students, allowing them to be part of our professional summer season. All positions are paid.

Academic Classes

Premiere Stages partners with Kean’s Theatre Conservatory and School of Communication, Media & Journalism to offer many courses in playwriting, acting, and television production.

Discounted Tickets

Discounted tickets for all performances are available for current students and Kean alumni. With a valid Kean ID, student tickets are $15 and $20 for alumni, 2 tickets maximum.

Resume & Cover Letter Review

Premiere staff will review resumes and cover letters for any Kean students and alumni interested in pursuing an internship or career in the theatre. Please email resume and/or cover letter to premiere@kean.edu with the subject line “Resume/Cover Letter Review” and we will send you free professional feedback within 2 business days. If you are applying for a specific position, please include the job/internship listing in your email.
