Liberty Live Commission

From June 15, 2020, to September 1, 2020, Premiere Stages accepted proposals from New Jersey playwrights for plays that explore a historical event or events that provide compelling ideas for dramatic storytelling.

NJPAC Stage Exchange

Premiere Stages partners with the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) to support the NJPAC Stage Exchange, a program connecting New Jersey writers to theaters in their state for the creation of original dramatic work. Premiere Stages’ Stage Exchange 2018 commission was Brick City by Nicole Pandolfo, which explored the choices two teenagers face at an underfunded public high school in Newark.
